ASOJ.ORG- Journalists from Associated Somali Journalists have confirmed that Michael Scott Moore who used to work at Spiegel Online was abducted and stay in Hobyo beach town in Galmudug State authority.

Journalists from ASOJ who went to Hobyo city recently has known that Scott was kidnapped by armed men who are most of them from his guiders.

Armed forces from Galkayo have reached in Hobyo town in order to survive the American journalist but it seems that there is a negotiations and understand bet the kidnappers of Pirates and troops from Galmudug state authority.

The journalists from ASOJ were refused to take pictures from Michael Scott Moore.

The chairman of Journalists from Associated Somali Journalists (ASOJ) Mr. Dahir Abdulle Alasow has called to the Galmudug authority and its society to protect and make efforts how could release the foreigner journalist from the pirates instead of demanding ransom.

"ASOJ condemns the kidnap of  Scott and it calls to the Galmudug state to pay more efforts how this American journalist could get his freedom" said Mr. Dahir Alasow, the chairman of ASOJ.

Mr. Alasow had mentioned that the kidnap of Journalist Michael Scott will be a historical black mark if he will no be released immediately without conditions.
