Associated Somali Journalists condemns the barbaric and inhuman killing of two Somali journalists by clan militias in Middle Shabelle region of Somalia on Tuesday.

ASOJ, call for an immediate investigation those who acted this merciless action upon Somali journalists who were on their routine Job , doing for their mandate of public right of that the public has the right to be informed.

'Those behind the killing of Abshir Gabre and Ahmed Haasan ought to be in front of the justice" said ASOJ President Daahir Alasow, speaking after the news of the death of the two journalists was heard.

Also, ASOJ president deplored the killing of four Ugandan troops of the African Union peacekeeping forces in Somalia .

Daahir Alasow, condemned the attack as cowardly and barbaric mission , reiterating his appreciation for the AU mission's initiative to ease the suffering of the people of Somalia, where some of the worst fighting of 16 years of instability recently raged
