Somali journalists elect new chairman
Somali journalists who are exiled in Nairobi
have elected Mohamed Abdullahi Sidii as the new chairman of the Somali exiled
journalists live in Nairobi on Friday.
The election took place in Kalsan Hall in Nairobi and most exiled, Somali journalists in Nairobi attended it.

82 Somali exiled journalists attended the elections and
Mohamed Abdullahi Sidii got 47 votes beating his rival Ibrahim. Ibrahim Daud got
30 votes.

Mursal, who are two experienced Somali journalists addressed in the election
hall and congratulated the new chairman for his victory.

Abdullahi Sidii, the new chairman pledged that he will work for the interests of
the Somali exiled journalists.
