Nairobi 27 July 2009
The Associated Somali Journalists, ASOJ, denounced an ISP in Somali inhabited - Eastleight section of Nairobi city, after the service provider blocked the access of it’s clients to waagacusub.com.

"it is so disappointing that such a company with close collaboration with the extremists in Somalia operate in Kenya, and therefore block access to waagacusub.com" said Fartun Ali Hussein (Milano) Director of Waagacusub Media.

Milano called the international journalists’ rights organizations to stand up against freedom of receiving impartial information done the mentioned ISP which is based in Nairobi, in which the ISP violated the international rules of browsing the internet, and those of the freedom of the press. Milano mentioned the ISP as Qaran Internet Company.

The Associated Somali Journalists, ASOJ, asked the management of the ISP to lift it’s blockage on the well-known waagacusub.com.

Waagacusub.com is the only website which writes the violations committed by the so-called Somalia islamists, and it’s the only one which receives the largest daily visitors among the Somali language websites.
