Somali journalists denounce blockage of access to waagacusub.com by an internet service provider.

The Associated Somali Journalists, ASOJ, denounced an ISP in Somali inhabited -
Eastleight section of Nairobi city, after the service provider blocked the
access of it’s clients to waagacusub.com.
"it is so disappointing that
such a company with close collaboration with the extremists in Somalia operate
in Kenya, and therefore block access to waagacusub.com" said Fartun Ali Hussein
(Milano) Director of Waagacusub Media.
Milano called the international
journalists’ rights organizations to stand up against freedom of receiving
impartial information done the mentioned ISP which is based in Nairobi, in which
the ISP violated the international rules of browsing the internet, and those of
the freedom of the press. Milano mentioned the ISP as Qaran Internet
Company.
The Associated Somali Journalists, ASOJ, asked the management of
the ISP to lift it’s blockage on the well-known
waagacusub.com.
Waagacusub.com is the only website which writes the
violations committed by the so-called Somalia islamists, and it’s the only one
which receives the largest daily visitors among the Somali language
websites.
